In a bizarre collaboration that challenges conventional expectations, the game developer has announced an in-game partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, including free extra story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Adventure Uncovered

According to the formal announcement, "An unusual confrontation pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where hints of prohibited ceremonies and terrifying metamorphoses echo through the darkness." The plot introduces a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a secret group.

The questline focuses on "bizarre tests and a terrifying foe" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Iconic Places and Transformations

The teaser showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser concludes with a powerful scene showing a character, probably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Prizes and Extra Content

Players who accomplish the quest will receive an exclusive katana in addition to multiple objects concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also features in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
